Emily's Produce is a family owned and operated produce market on Md. Rt. 16 (Church Creek Rd) just 5 miles from the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort in Dorchester County Maryland. Look for the “Big Red Tomato” and there you will find the freshest locally grown produce around. The business began in 1999 under a roadside tent in honor of the future proprietor, then a newborn, Emily Jackson. Since that time, Emily’s Produce has grown into a family friendly produce business that provides quality products and exceptional customer service.

Paul Jackson, the owner and operator of the business is a 4th generation grain farmer who wanted his daughter Emily to appreciate the work that is put into growing and raising crops. By choosing to grow and sell vegetables at a roadside market, Emily’s family would have the opportunity to teach her about the hard work of the farming profession, and it would also give Emily the opportunity to secure her college tuition. She now enjoys spending time helping at the market and in the field with her dad and little brother.

The market opens in May with a U-Pick strawberry patch and a beautiful selection of hanging baskets, perennials, annuals, and planters. Each week, Emily's Produce offers a free recipe of the week to each customer and delicious homemade desserts are made on weekends. The market offers the freshest and sweetest homegrown sweet corn and tomatoes starting in late June as well as a wide variety of other fruits and vegetables. Customers are also able to shop for unique and great tasting jams, jellies, relishes, and sauces straight from the Amish countryside. A U-Pick pumpkin patch is offered at Emily's Produce during the fall harvest season as well as a huge selection of homegrown mums, straight from the field. Look forward to a fun fall experience on the farm, with an exciting time finding your way through the milo maze. School tours are offered in the fall, which includes an educational experience on the farm.
