U-Pick Field Guidelines

Our U-Pick patches are part of a real working farm. Conditions can change quickly based on weather, crop availability, ripeness, and field traffic. Please check our social media or call before visiting for the most current U-Pick updates.

Before You Pick
  • Before entering the fields, all guests must check in with Emily’s Produce staff. Everyone in your group should check in together so our team can explain what is available, where to pick, and any field updates for the day.

  • Emily’s Produce provides the picking containers. Outside containers are not permitted.

  • At least one picking container is required for every 2 guests entering the fields. Each container may be filled one time only.
While You're Picking

Please help us keep the fields healthy and enjoyable for everyone.

  • Pick only in the areas where staff directs you.
  • Do not enter closed rows or fields.
  • Pick gently and avoid damaging plants, vines, flowers, or produce.
  • Please do not throw, drop, or waste fruit.
  • Any fruit you pick should go into your container.
  • Do not overfill containers.
  • Once your container is full, please exit the field.
  • If you would like to pick more, return to staff to purchase an additional container.
  • Please do not eat unwashed produce in the fields. We recommend washing all produce at home before enjoying it.
Field Conditions

Our U-Pick patches require walking across natural farm terrain. The ground may be uneven, soft, muddy, wet, or slippery depending on the weather.

Please wear comfortable, practical shoes and walk carefully through the fields. Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended.

Farm conditions are part of the experience, but they are not always stroller-friendly, sandal-friendly, or dress-shoe-friendly. Plan accordingly.
